Adnet Marble Sphere - natural dragon

Hand cut and polished sphere made out of Adnet Marble(Limestone) with a spot that looks like a dragon.
This piece is completely natural, it was only cut and polished!

The Adnet Marble is a form of red limestone and was already used by the Romans to decorate their buildings and it is still in limited use today.
During the medieval Ages it was extensivly used to decorate churches and other important buildings.
It comes from a few quarry's near the small town of Adnet, located in Austria.

Please note that this piece was made from a natural stone and may have some flaws. This is normal as nothing in nature is really perfect but that also makes every piece even more unique.
