Petrified Wood
An ancient piece of wood that was turned into stone over many millions of years.
Fossilized wood is created when a piece of wood is buried in ash or mud and this slows down the decomposition process of the wood.
Due to complicated processes, the wood is then replaced by chalcedony/jasper which forms like the original structure of the wood.
