German Agate
This agates was found somewhere in Saxony, Germany. Saxony has some very well known locations where some of the most beautiful agates in Germany can be found.
Agate is a classic gemstone that has used to create jewelry for thousands of years and is still extremely popular today.
Its popularity comes from the fine banding and vibrant colours that make this gemstone so unique.
Agate is a variation of quartz and in its pure form it would be colourless and translucent and the beautiful colours come from inclusions of different minerals like iron, manganese, chromium and many more.

PLEASE NOTE: This stone chipped during the polishing phase on one side and I repaired it with an epoxy and repolished it.
