German Serpentinite Pendant - Handmade
- Order number: EOSPT-R-M
Handcrafted pendant made from Bavarian serpentinite, a rock that was transported to the Alpine Foreland about 20,000 years ago by the Ice Age Inn Glacier.
The serpentinite originated from peridot, which was incorporated into the mountains during the formation of the Alps and transformed into serpentinite.
The name serpentinite derives from the Latin word serpens ("snake") and refers to the shimmering surface of the rock, which resembles the skin of a reptile.
The serpentinite was collected by hand from various gravel pits in Bavaria.
Crafted with care: handcrafted gemstone pendants made in Germany
I craft my mineral and gemstone pendants with love and care by hand in Germany. Each piece of jewelry undergoes several precise stages of production: from cutting the raw stone to shaping and grinding it with various diamond grinding wheels, and finally, polishing it to perfection.
This meticulous process allows me to create unique jewelry that beautifully reflects the diversity and magnificence of nature.
