At Emporium Ornamentum, it's all about exceptional jewelry. My collection combines my own, artfully handcrafted gemstone jewelry with carefully selected silver jewelry and traditional Celtic jewelry from Scotland.

Who is behind Emporium Ornamentum?

My name is Dennis Wiese . I'm a trained IT specialist and self-employed entrepreneur. The idea for Emporium Ornamentum came about after I returned from a several-month trip through Europe. During this time, I assisted a jewelry manufacturer in Scotland in the production and sale of unique pieces of jewelry made from locally mined rocks and minerals.

This experience left a lasting impression: The story behind the jewelry and the beautiful stones fascinated me so much that I founded Emporium Ornamentum. Even as a child, I was fascinated by stones and minerals – and today I combine this passion with my knowledge of IT and business.

Milestones in my jewelry making

2016 – The creation of Emporium Ornamentum
In October 2016, I launched Emporium Ornamentum with a small selection of Scottish jewelry. Since then, I've continually expanded my range and added many unique pieces from Scotland.

2018 – The beginning of my own jewelry production
That year, I invested in a tumbler machine, which allowed me to create my first pieces of jewelry. This marked the beginning of a new phase for Emporium Ornamentum—the creative processing of self-collected rocks, minerals, and gemstones into unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

2019 – The gemstone cutting machine
I expanded my workshop with a gemstone cutting machine, which opened up entirely new possibilities for me in jewelry making. Since then, I've been cutting gemstones myself and creating unique, handcrafted pieces—each piece an expression of precision, craftsmanship, and passion.

2024 – Expansion of the workshop and new opportunities
With the purchase of a larger saw and a powerful drill, I was able to work even more precisely and further refine my designs. The saw allows me to process larger rough stones, thus expanding my selection of gemstones.

2025 – My new online shop
My previous website was getting old, and since the manufacturer had discontinued support, it was time for a fresh start. My newly redesigned online shop now offers a modern and user-friendly platform where you can discover my handmade jewelry, fascinating fossils, gemstones, crystals, Celtic jewelry, and much more.
