Granite
Granite is a igneous or magmatic rock, it formed trough the cooling of magma and mostly consists of quartz, felspar as well as dark biotite mica and hornblende.
Granite is well known for its coarse-grained crystal structure which is typically visible to the naked eye.
The colours of granite depend on the circumstances of its formation as well as the mineral composition and because this, granite can be found in different colours across the world.
It was already used during ancient times by the Egyptians and the Romans to create statues, obelisks and columns and it is still a valuable building material today.
