Schlottwitzer Agate/Amethyst
Schlottwitz in Saxony is a well-known site for particularly beautiful agates and amethysts. Due to strong tectonic activity, the agate vein was repeatedly fractured and subsequently healed, creating so-called fragmented agates.
The finds from Schlottwitz consist mainly of red and grey agate, mixed with amethyst and white quartz.
