Handcrafted pendant made of Bavarian serpentinite, a rock that was transported to the Alpine foothills by the Ice Age Inn Glacier about 20,000 years ago.
Serpentinite originated from peridot, which was incorporated into the Alpine mountains during the folding of the Alps and transformed into serpentinite. The name serpentinite is derived from the Latin word serpens ("snake") and refers to the shiny sheen of the rock's surface, reminiscent of reptile skin. The serpentinite was collected by hand from various gravel pits in Bavaria.
With attention to detail: gemstone pendants made in-house
I handcraft my mineral and gemstone pendants in Germany with great attention to detail. Each piece of jewelry undergoes several precise steps: from cutting the rough stone to shaping and grinding on various diamond grinding wheels, all the way to the final polish.
This creates unique jewelry that reflects the entire beauty and diversity of nature in an impressive way.
