Handmade earrings made of Bavarian serpentinite, which was pushed into the Alpine foothills by the Ice Age Inn Glacier about 20,000 years ago.
This serpentinite originated from peridot, which was incorporated into the mountains during the folding of the Alps and transformed into serpentinite.
The name serpentinite is derived from the Latin word serpens, meaning "snake," which refers to the shine of the rock's surface, which is reminiscent of the skin of a reptile.
Handmade gemstone jewelry - The production
We saw, grind and polish our pendants by hand in our own small workshop in beautiful Bad Honnef on the Rhine.
We often follow the natural shape and structure of the gemstone to create unique pieces.
