Lizardite is also known under the trade name "Norwegian Jade," a name it owes to its bright green color, which also makes it a sought-after gemstone.
Our lizardite comes from southern Norway and contains some white hydrotalcite as well as martite, a metallically shiny pseudomorph of hematite after magnetite.
