Handmade pendant made of fibrous limestone, also known as Baltic jade.

Baltic jade / fibrous limestone
A form of calcite from the Baltic Sea, which is particularly striking due to its fibrous appearance.
The fibrous limestone often has a silky shiny surface and comes in various colors, the most common being pieces of gray to yellowish color, but green or pink pieces are also rarely found.

The production
We saw, grind and polish our pendants by hand in our own small workshop in beautiful Bad Honnef on the Rhine.
For this purpose we use diamond-coated grinding wheels, saw blades and drills to shape and grind the hard stones and to achieve the special shine of the stones through polishing.
