Polished Botswana agate, this piece was sawn and shaped by us by hand to bring out the most beautiful side of the stone and then polished to a high shine in the stone tumbler.

Botswana Agate
Due to their particularly beautiful colors and patterns, Botswana agates are probably some of the most popular and well-known in the world.
Botswana agates impress with their finely defined and contrasting banding and their colors. Most agates are found in shades of gray, blue, or white, but less frequently in pink, red, and orange.

Tumbled stones
Tumbled stones are stones that have been ground and polished in a tumbler.
For this purpose, the raw stones are tumbled with abrasives in a drum for several weeks, during which the sharp corners and edges are ground off.
Increasingly finer grains of abrasive are used, from very coarse to very fine, so that the stones acquire a smooth and shiny surface over time.
Finally, the stones are polished in the drum with special polishing powder to achieve a mirror shine.
