Quartz is the second most abundant mineral in the Earth's crust, so it's not surprising that it also occurs in the Rhine. So-called milky quartz is often found in the Rhine. These are quartz with liquid or gas inclusions, which gives the quartz its milky-white color.
Some of the quartz on the Rhine, however, show particularly beautiful colors and patterns due to the grinding process. We collect these special Rhine pebbles to create unique pieces of jewelry.

Production
We collect our stones ourselves on the banks of the Rhine near Bad Honnef and then process them in a so-called drum machine to give the stones the necessary shine and to show their full beauty.
During the tumbling process, the stones, along with some grinding powder, are held in a continuous tumbling motion for more than a week (hence the name), and the stones are slowly ground down.
This involves removing all unevenness, scratches and blemishes from the surface of the stones in order to achieve the wonderful shine of the stones.
