Rhine Jasper + Agate Pouch | Polished Gemstones

Gift bag with polished pieces of jasper and agate from the Rhine.

These pieces of jasper/agate were collected by us on the Rhine in the region around Bonn and tumbled and polished in our own tumbler.
Jasper comes from the ore deposits of the Lahn-Dill region and is also known as iron silica. It is quartz with inclusions of iron, which gives the stone its red color.
The Eighth probably originate from the region around Idar-Oberstein and reached the Rhine via tributaries.

Note : These are natural stones that we have left in their original form as far as possible and therefore the stones have small cracks and holes.
