Jasper from the Rhine
I collected the raw material on the banks of the Rhine near Bad Honnef. It originates from the iron-rich rock formations of the Lahn-Dill region – a historic mining area that was known for its ore deposits for centuries.
This type of stone, known as “Eisenkiesel” (iron pebble), is a variety of quartz that owes its deep red color to fine inclusions of hematite and other iron minerals. This natural composition gives the stone not only its characteristic hue but also – depending on the light – a silky or metallic shimmer.

I craft my mineral and gemstone pendants with love and care by hand in Germany. Each piece of jewelry undergoes several precise stages of production: from cutting the raw stone to shaping and grinding it with various diamond grinding wheels, and finally, polishing it to perfection.
This meticulous process allows me to create unique jewelry that beautifully reflects the diversity and magnificence of nature.
