Scottish Lewisian
Scottish Lewisian comes from the islands of Lewis, Harris, and the Northern Highlands. The raw material is collected by hand, forms the bedrock of Scotland, and is one of the oldest rocks in the world, estimated to be 3 billion years old (3,000,000,000 years old!).
Lewisian gneiss, the name given to this group of rocks, is composed of various minerals such as feldspar, quartz, and epidote. This combination gives Lewisian its striking colors and textures.
Even the earliest cultures of Scotland used Lewisian to build important monuments such as stone circles and sacred sites.

Production
We lovingly handcraft our mineral and gemstone pendants in Germany. Each piece of jewelry goes through several stages of production, from cutting the raw stone, shaping and grinding on various diamond grinding wheels, to the final polishing. This creates unique jewelry that reflects the full beauty and diversity of nature.
